I get so much more from the things I do with Metanoia Project than I could ever give to others. God is so generous to me! – Helen
At Metanoia Project we are all about helping Catholics to become excited about their faith, take seriously the call to grow in relationship with God, learn how to share that faith with others and to reach out in very practical
ways to the local community, thereby helping to build the Kingdom of God. In order to do this we have many events, outreaches and groups for people of all ages from young families, to children and teenagers, young leaders through to adults.
We are blessed to have a number of amazing volunteers (24 adults and 9 young leaders at the moment!) who are engaged in a variety of tasks, this may be administrative, volunteering at the homeless drop-in, working with children and young people, helping to lead the weekly ‘Living Water’ prayer and scripture gathering or providing music for worship. Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, and we rejoice that we are truly a catholic community drawn from all corners of the world to serve the Lord here in Preston.
If you are looking for a fantastic volunteer experience and want to feel that you are doing something meaningful to help build the Kingdom of God then please consider getting in touch. We are looking for volunteers to help with all aspects of our work so there is definitely something here for you! To help you in your discernment have a look at what some of our wonderful volunteers have to say about why they love volunteering for Metanoia Project…
